Web design services that bring in enquiries, not just compliments
Your website looks fine, but it does not rank, it is slow on a phone and it rarely produces a lead. We design and build B2B websites with SEO, AI search and conversion planned in from the first wireframe, and the senior marketer you brief is the one who builds it.

Why does a good-looking website still fail to produce leads?
Because most websites are designed for the owner's approval, not for the buyer's search. Pages are named after the business instead of the services people search for, there is no structure for SEO, and the enquiry route is buried in the footer. A website that wins work starts with what buyers type into Google and what makes them pick up the phone.
Built to look good, not to rank
SEO bolted on after launch usually means rebuilding pages twice. Headings, URLs and service pages need planning before the design starts, not after the site goes live.
Slow on the phone your buyer uses
Google found that 53% of mobile visits are abandoned when a page takes longer than three seconds to load. A heavy template loses leads before the page appears.
Nowhere obvious to enquire
A contact page in the footer is not a conversion path. Every service page needs one clear next step that matches how ready the buyer is to talk.
A website is a sales asset. Judge it on enquiries and cost per lead, like any other spend.
What do web design services include?
Web design services cover planning, designing and building a website so it does a commercial job: being found, being trusted and turning visitors into enquiries. A complete service includes site structure and keyword mapping, page design and copywriting, a responsive build, technical SEO, analytics and enquiry tracking, and support after launch.
Credibility is decided fast. Stanford Web Credibility Research found that 75% of people judge a company's credibility on the design of its website. For a B2B buyer comparing three suppliers, your website is often the first meeting.
Buyers now also ask ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google's AI Overviews for supplier shortlists. Those tools cite pages they can crawl and understand, so a clean structure, direct answers and schema markup matter for AI search as much as for Google.
That is why we plan the search side first. Design then serves the commercial goal rather than the other way round.

What does the research say about websites and buying decisions?
Your website is judged before a word is read, abandoned if it is slow, and only valuable if it produces enquiries. Three numbers that show why we build the way we do.

How does our web design process work?
Five stages, run by the same senior marketer from the first call to launch day and beyond. You sign off the plan before anything is designed.
- 01
Discovery and keyword map
We map the searches your buyers make to the pages your site needs, weighted to commercial intent.
Every page has a job and a search term before design starts.
- 02
Structure and wireframes
Sitemap, URL plan, page outlines and enquiry routes, agreed with you in writing.
You approve the plan, not just the look.
- 03
Copy and design
Copy written for buyers and for search, designed in your brand and checked on mobile first.
Pages that read well and convert.
- 04
Build and technical SEO
A fast, responsive WordPress build with schema, redirects from old URLs and Core Web Vitals checked.
Rankings you already have are protected.
- 05
Launch and measure
Enquiry tracking, Google Search Console and a review of leads after launch.
You see what the site produces, by page.
What do we usually find when we review a business website?
The same handful of issues, most of them quick to fix once someone senior spots them.

One page trying to rank for everything
Every service listed on the homepage, with no page of its own for Google to rank.
The fix: One page per service, named after the search a buyer actually makes.
No heading structure
Pages with no H1, or headings used for styling rather than meaning, so Google cannot tell what the page is about.
The fix: One H1 that matches the search, and H2s that answer the questions buyers ask.
Slow on a phone
Uncompressed images and page builder bloat that push mobile load times well past what Google recommends.
The fix: Compressed images, caching and a build tested against Core Web Vitals before launch.
The enquiry route buried in the footer
A contact page and nothing else. Buyers who are ready to call have to go looking.
The fix: A clear next step in every section, and the phone number in the header.
Claims with no proof
Quality, reliability and experience, with no figures, case studies or accreditations to back them up.
The fix: Real numbers, named clients with their permission, and accreditations where buyers look for them.
Enquiries nobody is tracking
Forms and calls that never reach Google Analytics, so nobody knows which pages produce leads.
The fix: GA4 events on every form and click-to-call, reported as leads and cost per lead.
What does a website look like before it is designed?
Every page is mapped to a real buying search, then built and tested. Here is the plan, and a finished result.

Why choose Lobo Digital as your web design company?
Because the person who plans your website is a senior B2B marketer who has been the client. Our founder, Marcus Lobow, spent seven years in-house, paying agencies for websites and SEO before he ever sold either. We build every site the way he wished his agencies had.
Early in his career, Marcus was the marketing assistant at a small commercial cleaning company paying an agency £2,000 a month for SEO. When he checked the work, the website's pages had no H1s and no heading structure at all.
The fix was not a prettier website. It was a properly structured one: the right pages, the right headings and the right searches. Within a month, a site getting 30 to 40 mostly branded visits a month was getting well over 1,000 on commercial terms. Every website we build starts with that structure.
"I learned SEO on the job because the agency being paid to do it was not delivering. It worked, and it cost me years. You should not have to repeat that to get the same result."
Marcus Lobow, founder, Lobo Digital
We will tell you if you do not need a new website
If your current site can be fixed with better pages, faster hosting or a technical clean-up, we will say so. A redesign is not always the cheapest route to more enquiries.

Does web design affect whether you appear in AI answers?
Yes. Google's guidance on its AI features says the same SEO best practices apply to AI Overviews as to standard results, and that pages need to be indexable and eligible for snippets. A site built with clear headings, direct answers and structured data gives AI tools far more to work with.
ChatGPT and Perplexity build their picture of a business from pages they can crawl and understand. Question-led headings, answer-first paragraphs, FAQ and Organization schema and fast pages make yours easier to read, quote and cite.

How much does a website cost in the UK?
It depends on the number of pages, how much copy is needed and what the site has to do. We price every website as a fixed number of hours at £62.50 an hour plus VAT, agreed in writing before we start. You know the full cost before any work begins, and it does not change unless the scope does.

How much does web design cost in the UK?
Business websites in the UK range from a few hundred pounds for a template to tens of thousands for a large custom build. We quote every website as a fixed number of hours at £62.50 an hour plus VAT, agreed in writing before work starts, so you see the full cost on day one.
How long does it take to build a website?
It depends on the number of pages and how quickly content and feedback come back. We agree a launch date in the plan and work to it. A new parenting support service we built for launched on schedule, with the website at the centre of the business.
Will my new website rank on Google?
We build every site to rank: pages mapped to real searches, proper headings, fast load times and schema markup. Nobody can honestly guarantee a position on Google, but a site built this way gives you the best foundation, and our SEO service builds on it after launch.
Can I update the website myself?
Yes. We build on WordPress so you can edit text, images and pages yourself, and we show you how before handover. If you would rather not, we can look after updates and maintenance as part of a monthly package.
Do you redesign existing websites?
Yes. Before we change anything, we record which pages already rank and bring in enquiries, then build a 301 redirect map so a website redesign keeps the traffic you have earned. Sometimes the audit shows you only need a few pages fixed, and we will tell you if so.
Is my website ready for AI search?
Most are not. AI tools such as ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews cite pages that answer questions directly and use structured data. Every site we build has clear answers, FAQs and schema markup, and our free audit shows how visible your current site is to AI search.
